Ducati's attack on Honda! - Honda disputed the components of the Ducati motorbike in the Qatar MotoGP. The Italian manufacturer's boss, Gigi Dall'Igna said that Honda could also be complained about its winglet.

Andrea Dovizioso's victory in the 2019 MotoGP opening series in Qatar was disputed by Honda, Suzuki, KTM, and Aprilia. The four rival manufacturers accused Ducati of using illegal components that helped aerodynamic the Dovizioso motorbike at the Losail Circuit on Sunday (03/10/2019).

After the fourth protest the team was rejected by the MotoGP Steward, now the case continues to the Court of Appeal. The plan, the hearing will be held before the Argentina MotoGP race. Ducati insists its components have no aerodynamic function. Dall'Igna admitted that he was shocked by Honda's attitude.

"Personally, I was surprised by Honda's attitude, which was one of the founding members of MotoGP together with Ducati and Yamaha. Until now, all technical issues have always been resolved in the MSMA (Association of Motorcycle Sports Manufacturers, building associations)," he explained when interviewed Sky Sports.

"Sometimes we discuss together with technical directors and always find solutions. The fact that Honda is questioning the choice of a technical director, puts us in a position to think whether we will make claims about the Honda wing, which we consider us dangerous."

"We never considered this, but if Honda questioned the decision of Danny Aldridge (MotoGP technical director), this allowed us to think about filing a complaint against Honda in the next race," Dall'Igna explained.
